Reality Vs Reality ( PB)
This year is my Senior year in High School. I was imagined this year as being festive and filled with nothing but fun memories. When your younger your imagination tends to takeover and make reality distorted and into what you want it to be. I didn't realize that the reality of being a senior is made up of the components of being a hard worker, being dedicated, and knowing what you want. During my first two years of High School I did not take school as seriously as i should have. In eighth grade I wasn't even thinking about making an impact with my grades I was just trying to get by. Little did i know, if my mind was set on making good grades from the beginning, i would not have to struggle now to try and prove that i am college ready. I was once told that " People do not do the right thing until the lesson is taught " in my case I am a prime example of this quote. I did not realize what I had to do until it was done. Although fantasies and fables are loved, reality is what we deal with and everyday i have to remind myself that what i do today affects tomorrow and to do it right NOW because tomorrow is never promised. Reality has settled in and i now know and realize many things that did not occur to me while i was younger. Its only like this because people like myself want the fantasy rather than the reality. As a senior i promise to show why i want and need to be successful. Now i am just faced with picking the right choice which is in this case......REALITY over FANTASY

This blog shows great evidence of reflective thinking. I love the specifics and details you use. It is frustrating that so many of us learn through mistakes, but the important thing is to learn from your mistakes! So long as you are learning, your mistakes are just bumps in the road.
