10 YEARS FROM NOW ( CSSR )

In class we are doing a creative writing piece which ask us to create a character. The character is set in a setting of a pool bar. At this time the character is and or should be in their teens. It then asks us to place them ten years from where they were. It kind of makes me think of where i will be in ten years and what I will be doing. Hopefully I will be financially stable with a striving career and or business. Also I plan to have my degree in marketing if not my masters in business then my bachelors ! Just my plan for myself in ten years
 

A HURT KNEE !

So since I vogue, taking care of my body is very important. Being a dancer of any sort helps you realize how much your body is worth and how something so little can really effect your performance and or spirit to dance. The other day I was Practicing well I'll say fooling around because i wasn't really serious and I ended up falling on my knee hurting it really bad so no when  I do go for one of the elements of voguing I cant really do it.

Im really mad because I haven't competed in a while and I wanted to make my return and have fun, but now i cant do that. This is sad lol

the key to performance is to take care of your body !

Phoneless Day (FC)

So today I came to school without my phone. It was productive but it showed me how much I could and couldn't do and I could do with my phone. It makes you realize a lot. You can actually sit and think about certain topics if you don't have your phone on you or just focus period. However when you do have your phone your minds can get preoccupied with irrelevant drama or topics that won't make a difference in your life. Its also a scientific fact that when people are constantly on their phone or on the internet their mood changes dramatically and it can also cause major depression. Taking a break from such sites and electronics can help you regroup and find yourself.

FRIENDSHIP ( FC)

What is the real definition of a friendship ? Is it lying to your friend just to make them happy? Is it letting your friends ruin their future just so they stay around you. Or is it to encourage them to do better , to do right by themselves and for themselves , to be a better person and push them to become SUCESSFUL ! I thought friendship meant to grow with the person and become better people with your friend. However people don't understand that. They feel as if friends are there to support every crazy move and decision. People take others for granted and then when they loose that person they don't know what to do with themselves. Friendship is about being real, truthful, caring and loving not saying yes to putting TATTOOS ON YOUR FOREHEAD !

DRUGS IN FORENSICS ( DRUG ABUSE )

Like many drugs, Oxycontin can become addictive and because many people have become addicted, many people have shown and acted on the disapproval of the drug. The reason people become addicted to this drug is because of the sensation of relief and immediate high that occurs after taking it. Oxycontin is made to numb the sensation or feeling of pain and help lighten the mood of the user. When taken it in an illegal form such as a powdered form or liquidized form to  snort and shoot into the bloodstream the reaction from the drug becomes faster which means the relief and high becomes quicker than taking it in its regular form or almost immediate. After repeated usage of the drug the high doesn’t feel the same, which keeps the users buying and wanting more because they want to feel the same high they retrieved from the drug their first time using.

COLLEGE HERE I COME !

So today I was gladly informed of being accepted into Cazenovia College through the HEOP program. This is what I was waiting for. I can finally say that I am going to college. Now all I have to do is start getting ready for all the adjustments, try my hardest to end on a good note and from there I will be fine. Im honestly scared but I know that this is a growing experience that will help me better myself and all. Im nervous.........

VOGUE ( FC )

V- Variety of styles of dance that are incorporated into one

G- Guts, Being able to actually show off your talent in front of the tons of people watching
U- Unique moves making your performance different from others or helping it stand out from the crowd
E- Evolution, Growing with your performance and making it better than what it was when you first started, staying dedicated to perfecting your craft.

Voguing consist of five elements. Hands, Duckwalk, Catwalk, Spins/Dips, and Floor performance. Each element is very technical but fun to do once you actually know what to do and how to do it. Vogue has changed tremendously; it is more about illusions, fast movements, telling stories, and breakdowns. Voguing is a creative art form that many people aren't exposed to, which makes it so much more interesting to people who have never seen it and so much more fun to demonstrate.

I found this song to be very touching, emotional, encouraging, insightful and informational. People still fail to realize that things such as the topic of being gay and obstacles that come with being gay are very emotional for people who affected by the lifestyle. Everyday people cast judgement upon gay people just because of who they like and love. Everyone is human and have different things going on with them but people pick on that one thing to outcast people. Its sad but listening to this song helps you realize a lot.

VOGUE (PB)

I have found something that I can actually call my own and enjoy doing. Vogueing has been an outlet for me and all my stress. I started dancing at an early age but didn't know that a type of dance like this could actually be fun to me. This is an art, this is an expression of yourself and how you feel. I don't only live and breathe dance but I live and breathe self expression and creativity and when I Vogue I embodied that.

This line of the song superpower by Beyoncé featuring Frank Ocean stood out to me so many times while listening to this beautiful song. I would begin to say that this verse means what I see in myself or about myself is different from the perspective of others. I would also say it means that I know whee I have come from, what I been through, and how much better or worse I have gotten since. Only one person which is yourself can actually see the growth and change in them self. Listening to this song I believe this is the anthem of unity and finding yourself and also believing in yourself. I recommend everyone listens to this song with its soothing tone. ❤️👍

COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION (MY DEDICATION)

Its been five years since I have entered TMA and it has been an emotional five years at that. I have made friends lost friends and made many connections. I always dream of being a senior and getting ready to leave off to college and some how I am still in disbelief that it is actually happening. I will miss the good times but I can do without the bad. I owe it to my friends for making my journey in high school as fun as possible and for actually being a motivation for me to succeed. Any who I just want to say I'm glad I choose TMA and I will forever love the class of 2014.
